/lobby
The /lobby command is used to create and join multiplayer games where you compete against other players for a pot. This command cannot be used by itself - you must specify which game you want to play (e.g., /lobby pig, /lobby war, /lobby watergunroulette).
How Lobbies Work
Creating a Lobby
When you run a /lobby command, you'll be prompted to configure game settings (like bet amount and other game-specific options). Once you submit your settings:
- A lobby is created with you as the host
- Your bet amount is locked from your balance
- Other players can join by clicking the "join" button
- Once enough players join, you (the host) can start the game
Joining a Lobby
When someone else creates a lobby:
- Click the "join" button to enter
- Your bet amount (equal to the host's bet) is locked from your balance
- Wait for the host to start the game or join/leave as needed
Leaving a Lobby
Before the game starts:
- Any player can leave and get their bet refunded
- If the host leaves: The lobby is disbanded and all players are refunded
Once the game is in progress:
- Players cannot leave - you must play until the game ends
Game Phases
Waiting Phase
- Lobby is open for players to join/leave
- Host can start the game when minimum players are present
- Timeout: If no activity for 60 seconds, lobby is automatically disbanded and all players are refunded
In-Progress Phase
- Game is actively being played
- Turn-based gameplay with each player having 60 seconds per turn
- Turn timeout: If a player doesn't act within 60 seconds, they forfeit and other players are refunded their bets
Pot and Payouts
- All players' bets go into a pot
- Winner(s) take the entire pot (or split it if there's a tie)
- Losers lose their bet amount
Available Lobby Games
- Pig - Dice game where you race to 50 points (2-4 players)
- War - Card battle where highest card wins (2 players)
